The Trailer is coming soon – in the mean time i have the Poster i have been working on all shinny and new ready for your eyes to behold.
I have been working on the Poster with the producers Glen Murphy and Steve Darts and it’ll be used to help promote the film until it is distributed (at which point the distributers will probably make a better one )
The film was screened ALONG WITH MY FILM HUSKY(!!!!!!!!!) at the Palombaro Film Festival in Italy where both films recieved respective awards for best film and best short film.
Husky will be out online soonish – check this video out for more information. In the mean time i have a few tweaks to do and some festivals to send the film off to.
As stated before, i will doing a blog post discussing my next two projects that will premiere online on my YouTube channel.
I have also updated My Website with a brand new look – ahhhh so much new stuff!!!
All the best
Over the last few months I have had the most incredible opportunity to work with producers Glen Murphy and Steve Darts on their film ‘Lost in Italy’.
With them I have been working on a poster and trailer (that I hope to post here soon)! The opportunity has been fantastic and it’s great to be a part of a much bigger production. I did a blog post a while back on my old blog system about working on set for a day on the film so it’s been a great mix of involvement.
I am currently in the airport ready to fly to Italy (Palombaro) for the Italian premiere of the film which looks to be fantastic. The film is great and really unique – it can’t be confined to a single generic genre as it really has a lot to offer. I’ll link this post up to the website shortly (SEE BELOW) and be sure to keep your eyes peeled.
In the mean time, I am finalising Husky and hope for it to be up next weekend x sorry for all the delays and I hope you guys think it’s worth the wait. I’ll also be doing a Husky release competition which I’ll talk about in my next post as well as my new exciting project I have already started planning…
All the best
PS.The picture is of my holiday socks 😀
So, I have just about locked in the edit for Husky and am just finishing the sound. The problem I am having is the raw sound just isn’t up to scratch. adobe Soundbooth just isn’t up to the mess I am throwing at it.
Not having a proper boom hasn’t helped the external mic (Zoom H2), but where it has worked it works wonderfully – really nice quality sound.
So I am going through all of the H2 audio and using foley too.
The obvious nightmare would be a case where the audio actually stops people from watching the film. I don’t think husky ever reaches that point although it is a little rough in places.
Hopefully you guys won’t know what I am talking about 😀
Husky is out 20th November!
